Terms of Service

1. About GolfFeed

GolfFeed is a golf event management application operated by Mark Mullen, trading as GolfFeed, based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading the GolfFeed app, creating an account, or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use GolfFeed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GolfFeed. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You create your account by verifying your mobile phone number via SMS. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and phone number secure. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.

You may only create one account per phone number. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.

4. What GolfFeed provides

GolfFeed allows you to:

• Create and manage golf events and trips
• Invite players by phone number and manage player roles
• Set up rounds, record scores, and view live leaderboards
• Upload photos and media to a private event feed
• Share a read-only public view of an event (organiser-controlled)

GolfFeed is a tool for personal and recreational use. It is not an official scoring or handicapping system recognised by any golf governing body.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to GolfFeed, including photos, captions, and display names (“Your Content”).

By uploading content, you grant GolfFeed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the service — for example, showing your photos to other participants in the same event.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We do not use Your Content for advertising or share it outside the service without your permission.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share. Do not upload content that depicts others without their consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GolfFeed to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
• Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the service
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written permission
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Event organisers

If you create an event as an organiser, you are responsible for the event and its participants. This includes ensuring that any players you add by phone number have consented to being added and receiving an SMS invitation.

Organisers control whether an event's leaderboard and feed are made publicly accessible. You must not enable the public link for an event if participants have a reasonable expectation of privacy.

8. Intellectual property

GolfFeed, including its name, logo, design, code, and all content we create, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of GolfFeed without our written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

GolfFeed is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

Score data and leaderboard results are provided for recreational purposes only. We are not responsible for errors in scores entered by users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GolfFeed and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or disruption to an event.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50 (whichever is greater).

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using GolfFeed at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting hello@golffeed.golf.

We may suspend or terminate your access to GolfFeed at any time if you breach these terms, or if we decide to discontinue the service. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice where possible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be available at golffeed.golf/terms. Material changes will be notified within the app. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Privacy

Your use of GolfFeed is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your personal data.
